Do I need permission for a new driveway?: Front gardens have rules around surface water and permeable surfacing, and altering a kerb needs highways approval. We will point out where a check is needed.
How long will the work take?: It depends on the size, the amount of excavation and the surface chosen. We will set out an expected sequence of works with your quotation.
Can you keep my driveway usable during the work?: Not usually for the whole job, and we will be straight with you about which days parking will not be possible.
Will weeds grow through block paving?: Some seeds settle in the joints over time. Correct jointing and an occasional brush and treat keeps it under control.
